Moving On
I am moving on,
leaving all the lights behind,
leaving all the memories,
leaving all the hopes
that once kept me alive.
I am moving into darkness—
where love is a luxury,
where hope is out of reach,
where care goes unheard,
and the night never ends.
Where the sun never rises,
the moon never appears,
and the stars
have forgotten how to sparkle.
A place where happiness
has been forgotten,
where laughter has no voice,
where smiling is forbidden,
and every dream
has quietly disappeared.
I am moving on—
not from you,
not from the memories,
but from the life
I once knew.
Into the silence,
into the darkness,
into a place
where nothing is expected
and nothing can hurt.
