আজ বর্ষা এসেছে আমার মনের দ্বারে,
আজ কালো মেঘ জমেছে মনের অন্ধকারে।
আজ বাতাস নিয়ে আসছে এক হারানোর গন্ধ,
আজ প্রকৃতির নীরবতায় যেন যুদ্ধের ছন্দ।
আজ পাখিরাও কেমন যেন ডাকছে আনমনা,
আজ মন হারিয়ে ফেলেছে নিজেরই ঠিকানা।
আজ শরীরে জাগে অদ্ভুত এক শিহরণ,
আজ প্রাণ যেন নিয়েছে নিজেকে হারানোর পণ।
আজ ফুলগুলো হারিয়ে ফেলেছে তাদের সব গন্ধ,
আজ আমি করে নিয়েছি মনের দুয়ার বন্ধ।The Rains Have Come

Today, nature seems restless,
as if preparing for a war.
Today, the birds are calling

the place it once called home.
Today, a strange shiver
awakens within my body.
Today, my soul seems to have taken
a vow to lose itself.
Today, the flowers have lost
all their fragrance.
Today, I have closed
the doors of my heart.
